He reg­u­lar­ly pub­lish­es arti­cles in Ger­man-lan­guage spe­cial­ist literature.

  • Wolf­gang Stürzbecher
    Born in 1962, mar­ried, two chil­dren, ani­mal pho­tog­ra­ph­er and grad­u­ate. Social pedagogue.
    Works as a youth pro­ba­tion offi­cer in the Berlin dis­trict of Wed­ding and pub­lish­es ani­mal pho­tos and ani­mal trav­el reports on wild ani­mals around the world, in news­pa­pers and mag­a­zines. He is always drawn to our nation­al park with his cam­era with its breath­tak­ing biodiversity.
  • Ans­gar Vössing
    Born in Berlin in 1957, stud­ied biol­o­gy, the­ol­o­gy and phi­los­o­phy in Berlin and Mün­ster, did his doc­tor­ate on the social learn­ing of pri­mates in the zoo. Worked as a lec­tur­er at the Free Uni­ver­si­ty of Berlin, as a teacher and jour­nal­ist. In 1988 he became speech­writer for the Gov­ern­ing May­or of Berlin, worked from 1988–1991 in the sci­en­tif­ic advi­so­ry ser­vice for the par­lia­men­tary groups in the Berlin House of Rep­re­sen­ta­tives. From 1991–1993 he worked for the Bran­den­burg Min­istry of the Envi­ron­ment, pri­mar­i­ly as the con­struc­tion man­ag­er of the Low­er Oder Val­ley Nation­al Park Admin­is­tra­tion. In 1993 he returned to the Berlin Sen­ate Chan­cellery as head of the depart­ment for polit­i­cal plan­ning and pol­i­cy mat­ters. He is hon­orary vice chair­man of the Asso­ci­a­tion of Friends of the Ger­man-Pol­ish Euro­pean Nation­al Park and board mem­ber of the Low­er Oder Val­ley Nation­al Park Foundation.

  • Hans-Jörg Wilke
    Born in 1959 in Wol­gast, 1984–1991 biol­o­gy teacher at var­i­ous Schwedt schools, then employed in the devel­op­ment staff of the nation­al park and in the nation­al park admin­is­tra­tion to this day. Togeth­er with Bern­hard Grimm, he pub­lished the first illus­trat­ed book about the nation­al park in 1993. Wilke dealt with the his­to­ry of the Oder land­scape for many years. As a result of his con­ver­sa­tions with con­tem­po­rary wit­ness­es, four his­tor­i­cal pho­to books were cre­at­ed under the title “Archive Pic­tures” on every­day life on the Oder and Haff. Since 2006 Wilke has devot­ed him­self to the his­to­ry of ani­mal illus­tra­tion and in 2016 was able to suc­cess­ful­ly com­plete his doc­tor­ate at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Jena on the sub­ject of “Ani­mal illus­tra­tion in the pop­u­lar sci­en­tif­ic lit­er­a­ture of the Ger­man-speak­ing area 1850–1950”.
