The 152-page illustrated book in the format 26 x 24 cm published by Ansgar Vössing and Günter Blutke, for which 20 photographers and nature conservationists provided the photos, shows the beauties of nature on both sides of the Oder in the International Park Unteres Odertal. It is a declaration of love to a land in the river.
The lyrical and poetic illustrated book arranges its motifs not only according to the course of the seasons, but also according to plant and animal geographical, but also systematic aspects.

The low price could only be achieved through the voluntary work of the editors and the photographers as well as the generous support of the two paper mills, UPM-Kymmene Papier GmbH and Co. This coöperation between nature conservation and local industry is exemplary and can only be welcomed.
