Between the worlds — life in the shore zone
 
The excur­sion par­tic­i­pants for this excur­sion will meet on Sat­ur­day, Sep­tem­ber 3rd, 2005 at 10 a.m. at the park­ing lot of the Wilder­ness School Teerofenbrücke.

Expe­ri­ence has shown that the ripar­i­an zones, the bor­der area between land and water, offer par­tic­u­lar­ly species-rich and diverse habi­tats. To get to know this, Mrs. invites  Dr. Andrea Mess from the Muse­um of Nat­ur­al His­to­ry in Berlin on an expert, but gen­er­al­ly under­stand­able excur­sion to the Low­er Oder Val­ley. This excur­sion is par­tic­u­lar­ly suit­able for children.

In con­nec­tion with the species-rich habi­tats, Dr. Man­fred Ade from the sys­tem­at­ic advice and  Edu­ca­tion Berlin on the impor­tance of wilder­ness areas for med­i­c­i­nal plant science.
