Dear Sir or Madam,

We hereby present the current edition of our excursion program for 2005. It is an anniversary edition insofar as the National Park Foundation is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. The excursion program is therefore particularly extensive with 14 guided tours. We are pleased that we have again succeeded in recruiting renowned scientists from our partner organizations in universities, technical colleges, research institutions and in the natural history museum to offer top-class, voluntary and non-profit excursions in a generally understandable form. Participation in the excursions is free of charge, donations are welcome, advance reservations by telephone are requested.

Such an excursion program, which the foundation was able to continue for the eighth time, is unique in the national parks and protected areas, at least in Germany. It shows the great commitment of the scientific institutions in the region with the only national park in Brandenburg and the deep connection with nature conservation. It is a shining example of civic, voluntary engagement, independent of government regulation and funding.

We would be delighted if you could bring this unique offer to your readers, viewers and listeners in a suitable way.
