National Park Association continues to buy land in the Lower Oder Valley National Park region (23.06.2011)

“As the plan­ning offices com­mis­sioned by the state of Bran­den­burg to car­ry out the land con­sol­i­da­tion process,” the dead­lines request­ed for the plan with the par­tic­i­pants in the com­pa­ny land con­sol­i­da­tion process have large­ly been com­plet­ed. The land require­ment for the Low­er Oder Val­ley Nation­al Park could be cov­ered by dec­la­ra­tions of land renun­ci­a­tion in favor of the State of Bran­den­burg, State Envi­ron­ment Agency. An impor­tant goal of the land con­sol­i­da­tion pro­ce­dure has thus been achieved. ”

We are pleased that the land reor­ga­ni­za­tion author­i­ty has obvi­ous­ly acquired enough land to assign the land to the wilder­ness devel­op­ment areas (total reserves, pro­tec­tion zone I a / b), as clear­ly stat­ed in the decree on cor­po­rate land reor­ga­ni­za­tion from the year 2000. That should final­ly hap­pen now, ten years after the order.
