Dear Sir or Madam,

It is my great plea­sure to present you today with the leaflet about the excur­sion offers of the Asso­ci­a­tion of Friends of the Ger­­man-Pol­ish Euro­pean Nation­al Park Unteres Oder­tal e. V. and the Nation­al Park Foun­da­tion. For the tenth time — and this is a small anniver­sary to be cel­e­brat­ed — sci­en­tists from our part­ner orga­ni­za­tions, from the Nat­ur­al His­to­ry Muse­um, from the Berlin Zoo and Tier­park, but also from the uni­ver­si­ties and research insti­tu­tions in the region, have found them­selves ready on a sci­en­tif­ic basis , but gen­er­al­ly under­stand­able, to guide inter­est­ed res­i­dents and vis­i­tors on spe­cial top­ics through the Low­er Oder Valley.

The tours are free, dona­tions for nature con­ser­va­tion are request­ed. We are very grate­ful for this civic com­mit­ment by the experts from our part­ner orga­ni­za­tions. As far as I know, there is no sec­ond time such an excur­sion pro­gram put togeth­er on a vol­un­tary basis at this lev­el in a Ger­man pro­tect­ed area. It serves both pub­lic edu­ca­tion and acceptance.

We would be hap­py if you could vis­it one or the oth­er excur­sion your­self and report about it. Above all, we would be grate­ful if you would draw the atten­tion of your view­ers, lis­ten­ers and read­ers to the excur­sion dates men­tioned on the leaflet.
