Between the worlds — life in the shore zone

Experience has shown that the riparian zones, i.e. the border area between land and water, offer particularly species-rich and diverse habitats. To get to know them, Dr. Andrea Mess from the Museum für Naturkunde in Berlin took us on an expert, but generally understandable excursion to the Lower Oder Valley. This excursion is particularly suitable for children.

The excursion participants will meet on Saturday, June 30th, 2007 at 10:00 am at the parking lot of the Teerofenbrücke Wilderness School.

In connection with the species-rich habitats, Dr. Manfred Ade from Systematic Consulting and Education Berlin pointed out the importance of wilderness areas for medicinal plant science.

There are overnight accommodations in the wilderness school.

The tour is free, donations are welcome. Pre-registration by phone on Tel.-No .: 03332/219822 is desired.
