The unique world of bees and wasps is var­ied. The wild bees in par­tic­u­lar show the diver­si­ty, beau­ty and unique­ness of the local nature. Not only the hon­ey bees, but also the wild bees are of great impor­tance as pol­li­na­tors and thus for our ecosys­tems. dr Christoph Saure and Nico Streese (Office for Ani­mal Eco­log­i­cal Stud­ies Berlin) con­vey a lot of inter­est­ing and inter­est­ing infor­ma­tion about bees and wasps in a gen­er­al­ly under­stand­able form. A field guide and a mag­ni­fy­ing glass are useful.
