On this bicycle excursion you will learn interesting facts not only about grassland meadows in general, but also about reed canary grass meadows in particular. Reed canary grass resembles reed canary grass and is found in wet meadows and often along riverbanks. Cattail grass plays an important role in ecological agriculture and nature and environmental protection. Reed canarygrass is a soil firming grass, as a mass growing mowing grass it is very productive and is considered an energy crop with high biomass yield. The expert Prof. Dr. Gisbert Schalitz will tell you a lot of interesting facts, not only about reed canary grass meadows, but also about today’s land use in the polders and the unique flora in the Lower Oder Valley and much more, scientifically and yet generally understandable. For closer identification of the vegetation, an identification book is advantageous.
